As the name implies, Wyndham Worldwide offers vacation rentals across the globe. The vacation cottages in Europe are incredible. They offer upscale accommodations to quaint countryside. What an incredible way to see Europe.

I can already envision having a cup of coffee, along with a bit of crusty French bread left over from last night’s incredible supper. Then we leave our little cottage for a quiet exploration of the countryside. We will stop for lunch, share a little wine in the sunshine, and then walk off our lunch in town.

Okay, I am ready to pack my bags. My wife and I are the age we can use our AARP membership to book rooms for just the two of us, or take our kids, or take our grandkids, or even our parents with us. We are truly part of the sandwich generation. Vacation rental’s let us accommodate any sized group, from 2 to 20.

If something a little closer to home is more your liking, there are too many locations to do justice to in this article. As summer family vacation time approaches, you might want to look at the offerings for Disney World or Branson, Missouri.

If you have never been to Branson, it is a great family vacation destination. There are lakes for swimming and boating, and cool streams for a canoe float trip. There are family friendly theme parks and water parks. If country music is your favorite, you will be in heaven here. There are lots of venues to choose from.  In fact, there are too many to see in just a one week vacation. Dolly Parton has a wonderful dinner theater here called the Dixie Stampede. Dolly does not sing here, but the show has horses, pig races, ostrich races, and great food.

Branson is also home to world class trout fishing on Lake Taneycomo. Bass fishermen will love the fishing available on Table Rock Lake and Bull Shoals Lake. Even if you are not an avid fisherman, there are plenty of opportunities to drop a line in the water and try your luck at catching a fish.

Branson also has plenty to offer during the Christmas season. The shows change to take on a Christmas theme. Silver Dollar City changes from a summer theme park to a winter wonderland with thousands and thousands of twinkling lights. While the water park closes and swimming in the lake is out, everything else in Branson runs full out until after the winter holidays.

The Wyndham/AARP properties are right in the middle of all that Branson has to offer and at a 10% discount. So no matter where your vacation is going to take you this year, you might want to give this link a look. It might just put a little extra souvenir money in your pocket.
